Back by popular demand: Large-scale video projections by visual artist and filmmaker Nataša Prosenc Stearns inside and on the patios of Strada Eateria & Bar are back!
First presented during the months of the pandemic last year, they include selection of Nataša’s work, especially adapted to the environment of the restaurant and the vibe of Downtown Los Angeles. This is an ongoing project, so stay tuned for new videos and events.
On Sundays, the projections are accompanied by live music of L.A. Jazz Connection.
Nataša Prosenc Stearns is a Slovenian born visual artist and filmmaker, who moved to Los Angeles on a Fulbright Grant for her MFA at CalArts. Her work has been featured at the Venice Biennale, in Douloun Museum of Art in Shanghai, ARCO Fair Madrid, Museum ofModern Art in Slovenia, Lancaster Museum of Art, Tel Aviv Museum of Art and in numerous festivals. She is a recipient of the Durffee and Soros Grants among others. Most recently she completed a new body of work for a contemporary opera Code L.
